One of the greatest psychedelic pop records ever made—recorded directly after Sgt Pepper’s, in the same studio, with much of the same equipment! I was playing it from my iPod between classes today, but my Big Beat 30th anniversary reissue is my favorite way to hear it. Obvs one of my holy grails. I was lucky enough to find this for a very reasonable price at the wonderful @princeton_record_exchange. This one is a solid VG, maybe VG+. It's always a fun listen, but "Odessey and Oracle" is funny: one feels like there is always something more to hear; something just beyond the horizon. A classic.
