*sucks in breath* ok time to overexplain my playlist that i could easily post w much less context :))

ive been working on this playlist for a bit, but now i think its finally cohesive enough :) i was torn btwn this playlist consisting of songs that could exist in-universe (or at least sound like they could) vs songs that describe moments in a way. i also didnt realize how different the vibes btwn the first book and cf are until making this?? like thg gives off such folksy vibes, but two of the three glass animals songs i have on the playlist give off hard jungle cf vibes

shoutout to @rosegardeninwinter for sharing her playlist bc it not only helped me decide on the overall energy of this playlist, but im also going to continue to go through her playlist and add to it

imo the songs that fit The Most are  hello my old heart by the oh hellos (katniss building emotional walls and guarding her heart but still falling in love with peeta), flip by glass animals  (BIG cf energy, especially the chaotic last night in the darkness with everyone running around anxiously, not knowing where danger lurks), august by flipturn (everlark yearning hours), monsoon by hippo campus (yet another song that compares people to months/times of day...also “it should have been me” is katniss’s mindset at the beginning of mj...dang man...), and when the day met the night by panic! at the disco (hello? literally when the moon fell in love with the sun)

anyway im gonna continue to add to it and im definitely taking suggestions!! im pretty sure its set as collaborative too. also feel free to check out my main spotify for concept playlists, elarkin3323  :D
