Also, I love the idea that MK being such an art baby draws out stories and Macaque translates them into shadow plays for the family to see

"PAPA" Mk shouted waving his hands while standing in front of Macaques shadow lantern

"Eh?"

"THEY DONT TRAVEL YET! Then they meet the golden monkey!" Mk isnisted placing his hands on his hips while his tail swished behind him.

"Ah-right of course, papa forgot about that part" Macaque chuckles glancing at the scribbles Mk proudly showed macaque earlier claiming it was a brand new story for him to make into a shadow play.

"they meet the golden monkey and then decide to take him back to his home with his parent monkeys, then they told the dragon and the prince to stay and be thier family and they all lived happily ever after and played hide and seek and had ice cream for dinner" Mk explained pointing at the shadows and then trying but failing to make his own exactly like his papa could.

Macaque chuckled and picked up the smaller monkey who barked with laughter at the motion.

"perfect!! time to go show everyone you awesome story!"

"Mk that was wonderful" Nezha said ruffling Mk's hair

"yeah!!" Mei procaimed leaning into Mk's side and wrapping her arms around him tightly.

"good job Mk, Macaque" Wukogn smiled while the kids laughed togethor. Wukong turned his attention from the kids and to Macaque who watched them do thier silly little things with a gleam in his eye and a small smile forming on his lips.

"not gonna get attached huh?"
