Milo had been talking to Karma, well, texting Karma about the masquerade party and all that had happened between himself and Benvolio, who was revealed to be Jessie. He knew Karma didn’t like him the way that he’d begun to like her, having heard as much when she mentioned the person she liked now had a significant other, so he was trying his own luck at trying to refocus his affections elsewhere. They were in the middle of talking when Karma’s responses stopped. He didn’t think much of it, figured she just got busy and started scrolling through his social medias. It was a while later that his phone tweeted with a tweet alert from Karma (because of course he had her notifications turned on). He frowned when he read what it said, worry settling in for his friend. He made his way to Karma’s dorm, grabbing a couple things on the way before he got there. Milo lifted a fist to the door and knocked. “Snarm?” he called in as he waited for the door to be opened. “I come bearing gifts,” he added on, rustling the bag in his hand as if that would sweeten the deal of it being him some more.
