Now for a part I actually made this year and only just finished the other day! :D This is my third and final part in the Variations OC MAP, which you can find the MAP call for here: • VARIATIONS | REWORKED 25 Min Warrior Cats ...
The theme of this MAP is times of day. The MAP starts at dawn, with all parts in that segment taking place at Dawn, then moves into morning, day, etc, until it’s sunrise again, with each section using a different piece of music. Unlike my other two parts which were in the Dawn section, this part is in the Midnight section. I had fun with the color scheme for this one. :D
The plot of the part is: After Silentstorm (the main character in my fanfic and the focus of the last two parts) fought Scorch and fulfilled the prophecy, her daughter Jaykit grew up and is now Jaycloud. Over the many years of her life, she passes down the story of her mother's battle to save the light to each new generation, until finally the end of her own life comes, and she is able to reunite with the mother whose legacy she spent her life ensuring would never be forgotten.
The cats in order of appearance are Jaycloud of ThunderClan (daughter of Silentstorm and Lightfoot, granddaughter of Cinderheart and Lionblaze, and Rosepetal and Molefoot) as the main cat telling the story, the two little cats in her speech bubble are Silentstorm of ThunderClan (daughter of Cinderheart and Lionblaze) and Scorch the rogue (daughter of Sunny and Sniff (Willie's kit from Ravenpaw's Path), granddaughter of Sushi and Scourge). The first generation of kits listening to her story are her younger siblings from Silentstorm and Lightfoot's second litter, Hollykit (later Hollybreeze), Thornkit (later Thorntooth), and Mistykit (later Mistydawn), this takes place when Jaycloud is 3 years old. The second generation listening to her story is Willowpaw (daughter of Shadowstripe/star and Littledaisy, granddaughter of Tawnypelt and Rowanstar, and Floss and Smoky), (later Willowheart, then Willowstar), and her sister Screechwing's second litter with Oatfall, Stormkit (later Stormlight) and Eelkit (later Eelbreeze), this takes place when Jaycloud is 7 years olld. The third generation listening to her story are the apprentices who appear in the prologue of Silent Sacrifice - Swallowpaw, Stonepaw, Moonpaw, Thicketpaw, Silentpaw, and Firepaw, and this takes place when Jaycloud is 18 years old. The final shot in StarClan is from left to right Blazeheart (her uncle), Lightfoot (her father), Silentstorm (her mother), Screechwing (her sister and littermate), and Lightningstrike (her mentor).

jaykit and umberkit the sisters ever. jaykit also switched from charming to lonesome, so i like to think she feels comfortable around her more outgoing and charming sister umberkit. i love the sillies
other things that happened this moon: Duskcatcher has some romantic feelings for Heathersong now and Flutterpaw leaves fresh-kill outside the nursery for the kits and i think thats super cute
So what's Thicketpaw relationship is like with Ragweedtalon? Cause from the most recent drawing of him, he seems to have a tendency to just give up on his patients? If i infer that right?
yes almost! i'll talk about ragweedtalon first. how they treat their patients fully hinders on their relationship with them! for example if they were treating a cat with really bad injuries who could die from it, if they like the cat they'll save them and actually put the effort in to helping them, but if they don't they'll either let them die on their own or kill them using usually yew berries.
they've gotten away with it so far by just sayin stuff like 'oh, they were too sick or injured and i couldn't save them', or that they were already dead when they were brought, or whatever. no one really bats an eye because most cats see them as harmless now that they're a healer, because well, it's the healers job to try their best, right?
ragweedtalon is very much not against killing people, for bad reasons like if they don't like them or if they actually straight up for real can't do anything and think it'd be better to put them out of their suffering. they have little to no care for life.
their relationship with thicketpaw is, interesting! before becoming a healer apprentice, thicketpaw did like ragweedtalon because he hadn't realized what the healer was actually like. in the beginning, ragweedtalon's personality put off thicketpaw, changing his opinion on the cat for a while, but he held out and eventually started to like ragweedtalon again! mostly after realizing that, specifically to him, the things ragweedtalon says aren't mean to be mean, they're mean to be honest. ragweedtalon sees the potential thicketpaw has to be a good healer, and has already taught him about the power the healer position holds, and how you can really pick who lives or dies.
