He also likes retro games
He also brings Yasha on sometimes to play horror games
But he hands her the controller after five minutes in order to just talk to the chat because he gets too scared
Caleb is a soft-spoken achievement hunter who is renowned for 100% completing all the games he plays, usually on stupid hard difficulties
He’s always super calm and rarely gets scared or jumps
Just is a fucking calm ass beast of a player who isn’t phased by the hardest puzzles
He also plays a lot of indy developed games because he wants to highlight their amazing work
At some point Molly decides to do a livestream charity event (something like Extra Life) and wants to play (and complete) the newest horror game in 24 hours
Yasha isn’t going to be in town that weekend so through some mutual connections they recruit Caleb to join Molly
Secretly though Caleb watches Molly’s streams all the time and purposely streams when Molly isn’t so they don’t conflict schedules because he has the BIGGEST crush on him
Molly is the same way which is why Yasha suggested bringing Caleb on
The day of the stream they meet and go online to play the horror game
As usual Molly gives up within 10 minutes and Caleb starts playing, falling into his usual focus and quietness
As the stream goes on however they keep talking more and more and sorta forget they’re on the internet and begin flirting with each other
To the point that Caleb is missing achievements because he’s too busy getting flustered by Mollymauk
People start freaking out in the chat and donating more and spreading the word because the only thing better than watching people play video games to help sick kids
Is watching two people fall in love while playing video games to help sick kids
They surpass their goal with several hours to spare and they aren’t even halfway through the game
Eventually someone says they’ll match the current donation if Molly asks Caleb on a date and if Caleb says yes
Molly and Caleb are barely even playing the game at this point and are like “hey it’s for the kids so yes”
But secretly they’re like so freaking STOKED
And they raise a shit ton of money for charity and have plans for a date
The stream ends with Molly commenting that Caleb hasn’t finished the game and Caleb says that he can’t have his record tarnished so he’ll just have to come back and finish the game on Molly’s stream
The chat loses their fucking minds
They start streaming together more often after that
And they may or may not accidently kiss on camera because Molly once forgot to turn off the camera after one of their live-streams end
