I need help finding a fic

I know I bookmarked it, but now I can’t find it.

Crowley and Aziraphale touch (kiss?) and their respective angelic/demonic essences burn each other. They work through it over the years, continuing a sexual relationship that still physically hurts them until after Armageddon they’ve built up such a tolerance for the other that the angelic fire and holy water don’t affect them.

Does anyone know the name of this fic or what happened to it? I’m dying to read it again.

I have mixed feelings about the Good Omens finale. I liked some stuff, didn’t like others. I think the biggest problem is that the whole thing was already soured because of Gaiman’s actions.

That said, I think my definitive opinion on the show is an equal amount of the following:

I wish we hadn’t gotten a season 2 or 3, because the story of the book/season 1 wraps everything up perfectly, and that ending is what’s best for them: being together, and being on earth which they also love so dearly.

Because we did get a season 2, I’m glad that we got what we did of season 3, because at least now there’s closure. The story is officially done, and now I can move on. I don’t love the ending; I don’t hate it either. But it happened and it’s over and I am free.

I think going forward, I’m going to treat seasons 2-3 of Good Omens the way I treat Love Never Dies (sequel musical to Phantom of the Opera): it doesn’t add anything to the original story I fell in love with, and while there are elements I somewhat enjoy, I prefer to stick with the original media, and ignore all the “post-canon” sequel nonsense.

And I think that’s the best part about seasons 2-3. They’re there if you want them. But they aren’t required to enjoy the original piece of media.

I saw on Andrew Wincott’s instagram a clip from the Bafta Games in Concert” and there was, like, some kind of music video on the screen of him and Mariya singing Raphael’s Final Act. I’ve tried to find it online but can’t seem to. Does anyone know if that music video has been/will be released?

Major spoilers for MN fans who have only seen the show:

I wonder if they will change it so that Trent is responsible for killing Mollymauk.

Lorenzo and Jester/Fjord/Yasha getting kidnapped was more out of real-world necessity due to Ashley’s other job and Laura and Travis having Ronin. He was a side quest to waste time while real world events resolved- not that it was a bad waste of time. But it probably wouldn’t have happened if Travis and Laura hadn’t had to take time off.

Animated shows are expensive, and they’ve already killed off Gustav because he ultimately served no further purpose in the campaign, and his death was a good motivator story-wise to get Molly to move on from the carnival and travel with the group.

Having Trent kill Molly at the party would be much more impactful. We still get the horror of his untimely death, and it also gives the rest of the Nein a personal reason to want to stop Trent.

I may be way off base, but it’s fun to theorize!

But Sonar does

So anytime Sonar brings up Harvard, they bring up Yale

It drives Sonar crazy

Anytime they want to dismiss something Sonar says, they just go, “okay, Harvard” in a disapproving tone

Regardless of what their major was, Sonar is determined to prove that Harvard has the better professors, classes, graduates, etc.

Sonar opens his locker after a mission in which his suit is completely trashed to find all his extra shirts/jackets have been stolen, and in their place is a Yale sweater

It becomes increasingly obvious Sonar is totally in love, but he denies it, claiming he’d never date someone from such a second-rate university

Either right before or way after they start dating Sonar learns they only engaged in the rivalry because it riled him up and he, “made the cutest squeaks when he’s angry”

The rivalry continues, but the argument now always ends with them in bed, and honestly, Sonar’s okay with that

Does anyone know what song(s) Clarice Jensen played during the switch from the A stage to the B stage in Tampa? I’m making a playlist of the concert and wanted to include her pieces as well.

One of my favourite things about all three Nosferatu films is how there is such heavy emphasis on disease and plague, which is quite meaningful when you consider the history behind it.

You don't need to be a scholar to know that bubonic plague, which has always been a source of terror and destruction for the peoples of Europe even before and after it crafted its magnum opus with the Black Death, and in all three versions, you'll see imagery that calls back to these dark times.

From legions of rats crawling off ships to white crosses adorning infected houses and countless coffins being paraded down the streets. You even see this in Nosferatu's design as well as in the 1922 and 1979 films, Orlok had pointed ears and fangs on his front incisors rather than his canines, much like a rat! And in the 2024 film, his body is adorned with the symptoms of the illness.

And that's what makes Orlok stand out from other versions of Count Dracula (and such a memorable and terrifying character): he's more than just another embodiment of pure evil, he's the embodiment of a continent's greatest trauma!
