This is a thing I've been doing: turning fractals into rubber stamps via laser-etching. They work better than I had expected; a fairly large amount of detail remains visible even though the sizes are pretty small.

They're not terribly expensive, either, although rubberstamps.net seems to have raised their prices in the week since I put in my first order. Bummer.

(Also note lucite-encased insect being pressed into service as a temporary handle for unmounted stamps.)
