Just another reason why there's no such thing as a bad road trip. Today my wife and I were exploring Texas driving down hwy 66 towards Itasca when we saw what looked like a cool old school building and water tower upon a hill. We decided to explore and drove down a road that said "Private Drive" and found this church. My wife's jaw immediately hit the floor and said "Ben, my grandmother had a painting of a church just like that hanging on her wall my entire life!" After a phone call to her mom it turned out when her grandmother was a child, during the Great Depression, she lived here for several years.
