Pokespe week, Day 3: Arc
I guess it’s expected that the RS arc is my favorite Spe arc/chapter. XD
It’s honestly the first Pokespe arc I’ve read and how I managed to know that a beautiful blessing like Pokespe exists and why I read this arc first are a very long story. This arc/chapter retells the story of the Hoenn games, which I really love with intense passion running through my veins, in a slightly different way. The characters of this arc/chapter are all complex yet interesting. Its theme is simple, yet it is meaningful and quite deep if I were to ask.
One of the few things I love about the RS arc is the selfless change that Ruby and Sapphire did for each other. It’s nice twist they are each other’s childhood friend and yet, they didn’t know they are. Another heartwarming element this chapter did to me is how Ruby and Sapphire managed to accept each other during their training in Mirage Island. I guess feelings do develop over time, and okay, I think I should shut up. Hehe.
floral shackles are still shackles
@bi-antagonist tagged me to “post the last sentence you wrote and tag as many people as there are words in the sentence”.
(I assumed this was referring to original fiction/fanfiction as opposed to texts/posts/chats or what have you):
“Really straight,” Pidge said with a snort. “As opposed to what, ‘kinda straight’? Which is what you are, pal.”
lmao the only person I’m tagging by name is @fearking bc I know for sure your ass wrote something recently. Anyone else who wants to do it please @ me so I can see!!
Guardian Angels
Seika looked at the poster that had been placed in the main practice hall. Every now and again, management would promote members to Sae’s team of Guardian Angels, or members would be granted a weapon, suited to their own tastes and skills.
Seika sighed. She wasn’t great in combat, getting too caught up in what she was doing and forgetting about her surroundings, and regular air travel still made her a bit queasy, let alone the roller coaster like nature of the Guardian Angels.
“I guess I’ll just stay as a regular member....”
