sometimes I think too much about whether I should say something or not. because if I do, what if it only becomes an excuse for them even if what I say is true? but if I stay silent, they might misunderstand, and that hurts too. I keep weighing both sides, trying to decide which is kinder, which is right. maybe it depends on the situation, but it always ends with the same question in my head, should I, or shouldn’t I? it feels like my mind never stops turning over these small choices, especially when it comes to people I care about. like I’m always caught between wanting to explain myself and wanting to protect my peace.
