so star tears are like a hanahaki adjacent thing, but instead of coughing up flowers that your unrequited love likes, you just cry. all the time.

and eventually your tears start turning colors like little galaxies. then they start getting a little shiner than they should be. you realize you cant stop crying, even if you want to. the tears eventually begin to stain your face and cloud your vision. the stars in your tears scratch and burn your eyes, and eventually you go blind.

the dehydration from the constant crying is what kills you in the end. the human body isnt made to contain that much pure sorrow and heart break.
