Hsiung Hung, tr. by Kenneth Rexroth, from Women Poets of China; "Thinking of Someone,"
A rose for you.
It was a picture that made sense to take.
Do you ever start thinking of someone while you're walking somewhere and start smiling uncontrollably?
I miss you so much you bastard you're going to make me cry
Enjoying my lil peaceful morning ☕️ before my family wakes up. Happy Saturday!
Wind whipping its devastating reminders that you’re somewhere at its destination. The impending storm’s thunderhead approaches slowly shimmering with lightning that can’t seem to contain itself. It dances across the miles in the sky the same way I danced when we first connected. I am still that same bottle of lightning and I do not intend to open it again for anyone else but you.
Sometimes it’s just nice to kiss someone and know you haven’t fucked it all up yet. Nothing feels quite that pure, no matter how fleeting.
