It’s been... a month? Close to that?
I feel so lonely... someone. Anyone. Talk to me. Please...
Please...?
I don’t want to do this anymore. I want my wife, our house and our cat. I want my job--hell, I want better than that. I want my old life back when things were simpler, when that damned idiot of a president didn’t fuck things over for everyone. And one last thing? I want snow. And I want to build an igloo with it.
warmup fanart of a podcast i’ve been bingeing while i pencil:
Thinking Sideways Podcast
unsolved mysteries!
Any true crime podcast recs?
Thinking Sideways
A podcast investigating the weirder things that have happened. It’s got a pretty decent backlog of episodes, but it is done now, so if you’re interested in weird stuff, then this is up your alley. There are better unsolved mystery podcasts out there, but this one is decent. Pros: it covers a wide range of topics, from true-crime to aliens to historical mysteries, and the hosts usually have fun banter. Cons: sometimes their skepticism borders on mockery, their knowledge on certain things is annoyingly limited, and sometimes the hosts’ banter is just talking over one another. As a whole, I’d rank it at a solid 3/5 stars, not bad, and perfectly entertaining if you enjoy mysteries.
Wow I’ve not written anything on here for a little bit
Woops
I went traveling some more. Didn’t do any drawing like I promised I would. I was still adjusting to life on this strange land afloat the surface of Earth. Or at least I think it’s Earth.
I mentioned this in an earlier entry, but the gravity on this sideways floating continent is really wonky. How wonky one may ask? It has it’s own gravity when you’re walking along on this continent, so if you didn’t know that this landmass was literally beside itself you would probably not notice anything different from Earth’s normal gravity, but the minute you get to the edge closer to the actual earth, you feel it pulling you “downwards”. It’s like that’s where its center doesn’t keep you grounded. If you go to the other side, I think it would be different, but I haven’t gotten to that side of the continent yet, so I wouldn’t know if I’m susceptible to floating away or if the continent pulls me back.
Thankfully I haven’t fallen or floated off to space, or I wouldn’t be here to write in this again
So it seems like I’m the only one up here on this weird little floating continent that I’m on. I haven’t seen anyone else around. Maybe I’m truly alone?
But then why am I here, on a site that has probably been long abandoned, save for old posts?
Oh and those weird porn bots. Gotta love those. Is there even anyone on at this point?
Lookie what I found in my pad! Some old artwork I made when I was much, much younger and the world didn’t quite go to hell.
I’ll admit my art skills haven’t improved all that much, but at least Sketchbook works. Now where did I put that pen...? Oh, there it is! Behind my chamber bed!
Maybe I’ll sketch some more later.
