Okay sooo, I think they'd be pretty freaked out at first. After hearing abt the "dip" from Roger rabbit and how it kills toons, they're basically witnessing the same thing happening to someone they view as an uncle/parent figure, it can b pretty damaging to see

Dot would probably get Ortensia as soon as possible, ignoring her worries and tears to get Oswald some help, and Ortensia would probably try to contact mickey so he can bring the paint to restore oswald to his former self

Wakko would be staying by Oswald's side while he's going through the pain of being thinned, keeping him company through what he's experiencing while Dot is off getting help. They're crying, but still trying to be reassuring for oswalds sake.

Meanwhile yakko is taking it pretty badly, even tho he knows it's possible for Oswald to be brought back 2 normal with paint, it still pains him seeing someone he started to view as a parent figure go through something like that, so he keeps his distance until everything is solved , but he feels guilty for doing so
