I've been obsessing over his mom. Like yeah, I knew he was most likely a Shimotsuki because of one of Oda's previous SBS'. BUT HIS PARENTS CAN WE JUST

Furiko most likely had dark blue hair like Ushimaru. And based on her silhouette, you can tell she has that strong Shimotsuki chin and nose and long eyelashes. Pinzoro? Don't know him. He isn't important beyond being a samurai and named Roronoa I guess.

Arashi probably takes mostly after his mom, because those Shimotsuki genes are strong, man. Though his hair may or may not be that strong dark blue, depending on his dad's coloring. The man never learned how to use a brush though.

There's supposedly a character named Tera in FF? somewhere. I forgot which game. But green hair, silver eyes, and a swordsman? That's how I imagine Zoro's mom. And given that she was the daughter of a criminal? She definitely knows how to take care of herself on the battlefield, even if she wasn't a swordsman herself.

With her small chin and nose, and long-ass eyelashes, you know Zoro got those from her. Also, how she ties her hair back in the silhouette? If Zoro had long hair, male or female, that's how I'd imagine it. It's. It's perfect.

as a side note, Kuina's mom doesn't have any noticeable eyelashes in her silhouette so all I can think of is Zoro ending up with more stereotypically feminine features than his cousin lmao

as another side note, Kuina and Zoro's moms both dying from the same illness while they're children. You know. Just to make it Sad™️

All their names are apparently gambling references? So that's probably an (albeit kinda weird) explanation for why Zoro was so good at gambling in Wano and also why he seems to be really good at math? idk but it'd be funny if that's why.

Ushimaru def had a back tattoo so I'm kind of curious about if the "marks on the back is a swordsman's shame" is from Pinzoro's side of the family hmm

but also I still can't get over PINZORO. I know it's a legit reference but PINZORO. Arashi and Tera named Zoro after his grandpa knowing that THAT was his name.

DID ODA HAVE THAT PLANNED SINCE THE BEGINNING???

Speaking of Ushimaru, I haven't caught up to the manga or anime but does he look like he has big tiddies? Because Tera def does so that would explain how Zoro has the biggest badonkadonks on the Grand Line. Because it's from both sides of the fam /joking /notjoking

Anyway.

I'm having IDEAS.

There was a wip I was thinking of about maybe giving Zoro a mom where she doesn't die like in my HS AU and now I have CANON stuff to work with. ehehe

I've already posted this on Twitter, but I thought I would include it here as well.

Someone asked me on ao3 what Akko, my default lawzo baby, looks like and I'm horrible at describing things so hopefully, this makes some sort of sense--

Atsuko, shortened to Akko (though this is only explained in Fever) is always Law and Zoro's biological daughter, whether that be through gender-bending shenanigans or mpreg.

this is mostly bc I am unoriginal and bad at naming things lmao 😌

I can't really go into what she looks like because she's currently a baby/young child in both renditions. But she mostly takes after Law with black hair and gold eyes. But I also imagine her being tall and thin like him too

And yes, she definitely ends up taller than Zoro.

Her facial features are all Zoro though. Small chin and nose and long eyelashes and all that. Similar to femLaw from ch1063 ig but less femme presenting if that makes sense.

Young Akko definitely looks like a younger Kuina I'm sorry I don't make the rules it's those Shimotsuki genes

Personality-wise, if it matters, she's quiet, hates loud noises, and is a bit of a bookworm, reading anything and everything. If she can't read it herself, she makes someone else read it for her. She has an unhealthy obsession with marine life (though she loves all animals, like her parents) and loves looking through the port holes in the Polar Tang. Jinbei is her third favorite person.

Does she end up as a swordsman? Yes.

I sometimes think of her taking after Law and becoming a doctor as well. An actual doctor-doctor and not whatever the Surgeon of Death is, that is.

One Piece Rewatch, Ep 594 che-

0.2 seconds into the alliance and Law is already regretting it,

The next 20 minutes is Law realizing exactly what he got himself into.

Meanwhile Zoro is still in a ditch somewhere idk

I don’t know if this has been confirmed or not.

But I imagine that when Law uses Room, he knows the location of every object within it relative to his position, but not necessarily where it is in relation to the environment.

That’s why he can swap places with falling rain and land standing perfectly on an enemy ship’s figurehead from across the open ocean but didn’t realize that he was swapping places with falling rocks when he Shambled himself and Zoro away from Kaido until they were already in mid-air.

This leads me to believe that there are Heart Pirate shenanigans where they try and see where their captain ended up when they see him using Room on the Polar Tang. He has more often than not ended up standing on top of a table or, one memorable time, found himself shoved between the top of a bookcase and the ceiling.

since law is adept at stitching (and presumably sewing) i think he'd make bespoke kink gear. i think he'd make a harness for zoro :)

I hc that Law sews and/or embroiders most of his own clothes by hand (plus all of the Jolly Rogers on his Crews' uniforms because, c'mon). It's the only explanation - and no self respecting person would buy that many feathered shirts/coats.

He definitely makes Zoro custom clothes by hand because have you seen Zoro? Off the rack wouldn't fit with his tiny waist and giant- ahem- knockers.

100/10 Law makes sexy outfits (including but not limited to harnesses) for Zoro to wear during their kinky funtimes

had a 2pm fever dream where law carries zoro's decapitated head like a bindle around the world and gets into trouble(mostly because zoro is a fucking troll and hes just a head now, apparently, so what else is there for him?). i dont know either

My first thought was like a Durarara!! crossover where Zoro is a dullahan/headless horseman and loses his head while Law: 1) just happens to have found his head or b) purposefully finds his head for Science Reasons (but ends up falling in love with it either way)
