Third Congress of National Corps: main messages
The leader of National Corps Andriy Biletsky will not take part in the presidential election. He announced it on January 25, 2019 at the Third All-Ukrainian Congress of National Corps.
🔹 "I refuse to take part in this farce. When everything is turned upside down, when the clowns go into politics and politicians have long become clowns, when the main benefactors of the army steal the military budget and cash in on soldiers while tens of thousands of real veterans are imprisoned, in times like this, it's an absurdity to comfort your ego," Biletsky is convinced.
🔸 According to the leader of NС, at this time it is better to undertake real tasks instead of pleasing one's ego. The funds that could be spent on a presidential campaign will be used for the development of youth, movement and the army.
🔹 "In 66 days in Ukraine will start the first round of Ukrainian election. You know, many expected that we would take ten millions of dollars from a wealthy sponsor who would portray us as a considerable resource of man power. That we would invest them in advertising, billboards, etc., receive our interest and go home. Many had such expectations - most political analysts and so on," he said.
🔸At the same time, Andriy Biletsky stressed that National Corps has an ambitious goal: to form its own faction in the Verkhovna Rada as a result of the future parliamentary elections.
🔹 "We're going to get a huge faction in the Ukrainian parliament in 2019. What tasks should this faction set for itself? First of all, it should be a barrier, like in 2014 blockposts prevented the spread of the infection of separatism across the country. The faction of National Corps should be the blockpost against selling away the country in the parliament. It should bring up the personnel reserves of the national government, and this time will definitely come. Today - the control over the authorities, in order to become the power of tomorrow ourselves. This is the task of the parliamentary faction. And, thirdly, it certainly gives the opportunity to implement our plans. So we have no other option but to go forward, move and win in this direction," said the leader of National Corps. ----
