I think the “PUFFS: Or Seven Eventful Years At A Certain School Of Magic And Magic” has too small of a fandom because all i found were two fanfics and NEITHER addressed the fact that J. Finch COULD be imaginary but was brought to life bcs ✨magic✨ or that Wayne is probably aro and/or ace because of literally all of his relationship scenes being him panicking and trying to avoid it or that Megan just doesn’t have a father but she seems to only have mommy issues?? OR WHY XAVIA IS IN JAIL IN THE FIRST PLACE IF SHE DOESN’T EVEN KNOW HOW TO DO MAGIC???

HAPPY CLOSING TO PUFFS

Even though there isn’t a Puffs fandom on Tumblr, I’m a Puffs Stan and needed to acknowledge the sadness that is Puffs closing today. I can honestly say Puffs is my favorite play, and I’m devestated I can’t be at closing. But regardless, happy trails to the little show that could! The heart this show has and the joy it produced will be missed around new world stages and the theater scene in New York in general! #thirdornothing? #no #firstornothing

Puffs off-broadway is the best thing I have experienced in a long time

Quidditch try-our/Zach Smith improv scene? A monologue about male birth control complete with him trying to have Wayne do a spell on him which turns his penis into a rotten banana. No one kept a straight face in this scene

Leeann’s speech before the battle of Hogwarts? Still incredibly beautiful and moving

“We are all important and we are all unimportant”? Life. Changing.

If you have the smallest chance to see this show, take it

I went to the stage door after the show and was the only one. The cast lit up when I asked them to sign my playbill and talked with me and complimented my glasses. So sweet. Seriously, go watch this play and support these incredible people

Hey all! I would just like to point out that

Tomorrow: Saturday, May 12, 2018 as part of Fathom Events the professional recording of Puffs the Play will be airing in movie theaters across the USA.

I had the good fortune to see this show live about a year and a half ago:

It is a hilarious parody Harry Potter play featuring all your favorite Puffs including but not limited to Sally (Ann) Perks, Susie Bones, Ernie Mac, Hannah (Abbott), J. Finch (Fletchley), and of course the eternally beloved Cedric. Harry and friends DO make appearances, along with good ol’ Voldie.

Beyond going to see this because it’s an amazing show that I know all HP fans will love, it is also important to support professional recordings of theater shows and the accessibility of them being shown in movie theaters for people who cannot easily journey to New York City (or in this case, also Australia) to experience the live show.

The kickstarter for this professional recording clearly managed to hit that goal, but they are still going hoping to raise enough money for DVDs an even further spread the accessibility of the show! You can contribute to that here.

Please, please, PLEASE come out to see Puffs! I guarantee it is a great time!!
