Rushing out after doing several tasks all at once. Managed to catch the bus but realised I forgot my bank card. You know what I didn't forget? My library card.

guys if you have to buy things to be there it's not a third space....coffee shops are not third spaces.
I have always had the *best* “third space.”
My daydreaming and headcanons. I’m bed rotting in my second space, yes, but I’m *actually* in my third space.
Seize the means of production.
They can’t take my “third space” from me; it’s where I go to fall asleep, make huge life choices, pass time on road trips or during literally anything else I don’t want to be in my Flesh Prison for, and plan my various fic storylines.
TransActual UK and BBH London installed a “Third Toilet” outside the U.K. Supreme Court in a bold call for trans rights, legal clarity, and justice
The good news is that I found a nice place to sit and write within 4 miles of my house, and it's open 24 hours. The bad news is it's a casino.
This is the empty whiskey bar. They leave it open a lot when it's not operational, so I like to sit in here, but there are tons of other free places to sit too. The casino is very clean and safe, and at insomnia times of morning like right now it's just me, the security, the coffee shop lady, and a few gambling addicts. It's nice and very quiet. I got a mocha for cheaper than Starbucks.
I get that this is a bad place that preys on people with different mental health problems than mine, but the library isn't open at 6 a.m. on a Sunday, so...
Barns & Noble used to have chairs.
Lately, I enjoy going to a coffee shop alone because I feel like chatting with the barista or people I just met there. Talking with them bring new perspectives and stories, that somehow, makes me feel alive again.
I still enjoy going out with my friends, but in a way, I feel more and more disconnected. When we engage in interesting topic, I like it a lot. However, most of the time we're just busy with our phones and the conversation becomes dull.
At the time like this, I'm thankful of the existing small coffee shops that provide me third space, a place to disconnected from digital world.
is the reason i have 5 friends in my town because im autistic/transgender or because of the crippling lack of third spaces and time outside in our society. or maybe teenagers are just mean.
