The IIIrd World War (Micronet - Sega CD - 1993)
Scrooge McDuck: Participated in the First World War. Donald Duck: Participated in World War II. Huey, Dewey and Louie: Taking part in World War III?!
Today (here in the UK anyway, and possibly in other, less relevant places) it is National Sandwich Day, where we celebrate that ever-popular handy finger food, the sandwich. The Sandwich was not actually invented in Britain of course, the concept has existed for as long as humanity has had pieces of bread and fillings to put twixt them. But the term sandwich (literally translating as 'market town on the sand') comes from British statesman John Montagu, 4th Earl of Sandwich, who had the unusual habit of putting two mattresses on his bed and sleeping between them both (supposedly, Montagu found the feeling of pressure on top of him restful). This became known to his maids and manservants as 'sleeping Sandwich style', later shortened to 'sleeping Sandwich', and was eventually used for all situations where one object is compressed, or 'sandwiched' between two others.
This one is only tangentially related to British history but it's interesting all the same. Despite common belief, there is no evidence that Gavrilo Princip was eating a sandwich before his assassination of Archduke Ferdinand. He was in the vicinity of Schiller's Delicatessen when the assassination took place, but even if he had been inside sandwiches were simply not a common foodstuff in Eastern Europe at that time. Regardless, it is unlikely he would have had time to order any food from the shop as he was dropped on that road by a time-traveller only a few moments before the Archduke arrived. This time-traveller (name unknown) was probably from the alternate future created by the previous time-traveller, who saved Franz Ferdinand in an attempt to prevent the First (and, by extension, the Second (and, by extension, the Third)) World War.

Exclusive: Poll before 80th anniversary of VE Day finds tensions with Russia seen as most probable cause
Eighty years after the second world war, polling shows many Americans and western Europeans believe an even more devastating third global conflict could break out within a decade, with tensions with Russia seen as the most probable cause. As Europe prepares to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day, the YouGov polling also showed large majorities felt that events during and before the second world war were relevant today and must continue to be taught to younger generations. Between 41% and 55% of respondents in the five European countries polled: Britain, France, Germany, Italy and Spain, said they thought another world war was very or fairly likely within the next five to 10 years, a view shared by 45% of Americans. Majorities of 68% to 76% said they expected any new conflict would involve nuclear weapons, and between 57% and 73% also said a third world war would lead to greater loss of life than in 1939-1945. Many (25% to 44%) believed it would kill most people in the world. Most people, ranging from 66% in Italy to 89% in the UK, said they would expect their country to be involved in such a war – but only minorities, from 16% in Italy to 44% in France, thought their armed forces would be able to defend them. In contrast, 71% of Americans said they had confidence in the US military. Russia was seen as the most probable cause of another world war by between 72% and 82% of western Europeans and 69% of Americans, followed by Islamic terrorism.

World War III: No Tanks, Just Technology and Economy ⚔️🌍
World War III is here, but it's not being fought with weapons; it's being fought through technology and the economy. Since Trump launched the trade tariff war, countries have been inspired to fight by imposing taxes to weaken their enemies. For example, China is now imposing taxes on Canada. And the real battle will soon be over artificial intelligence. Pluto in Aquarius is initiating this technological transformation, but it is with Uranus in Gemini that things will truly explode.
(by the way, I love this Gif... imagine doing this to your enemy lol... Me and my sister we fight like this... Just kidding )
Uranus in Gemini: Breakups and Revolutions in Communication
Uranus, the planet of revolutions, will disrupt communication between nations. Alliances will break apart overnight, and an old enemy could become a new ally. This will be an era where countries not only fight to develop cutting-edge AI but also to control data and infrastructure.
Hackers and Social Media Control
Hackers will become key players, targeting strategic targets like governments and banks rather than individuals. Meanwhile, social media platforms like TikTok could be controlled by governments, turning these platforms into tools of power.
Education and Work: Virtual and Automated
Education and work will become largely virtual, as you already know. AI will dominate learning systems and professional environments, making everything more automated and connected. The skills needed to survive in this digital world will focus on mastering new technologies.
Money itself will no longer be given in paper; it's already virtual. So, if you want my opinion, since cryptocurrency is already virtual, it will gain more importance now. When Uranus is in Taurus, Taurus is materialistic, Paper money is important, but not in Gemini.
In conclusion, war is no longer on the battlefield but in the digital world! Data will be the new territories to conquer. Thus, the economy—such as taxes, cryptocurrencies, and technology—such as data and innovation, are tools of power and domination in themselves. We no longer need weapons.

Not saying it's a pattern, but.
At first, the recession hits; large-scale unemployment follows it. This makes able-bodied youth restless and vulnerable. More and more government policies slide towards right-wing nonsense.
Then, a single global event would spark the first proper war.
Then the world war starts, young men are sent to die in the trenches, and young women are sent to factories to help create war supplies, provide medical support and take the helm of society until the end of this war.
It is a violent reset.
I don't want to be Cassandra, but we are heading for another global catastrophe.
