Top 5 Harry Potter characters (and why) x
Dumbledore. He was just full of love for Harry and pretty much every character, and his kindness is something I will always strive to emulate. I think he was a beautiful beautiful man and changed the lives of so many (not including his sister oops)
Dobby. Again, full of love for Harry and kindness to all. He was brave, he stood up for what was right and always did his best to help.
Hermione. She didn’t care when she was made fun of, she never dumbed herself down to be liked or for the sake of the boys, she was an incredible character with heart and flaws (in the books that is) and always fought for what she believed in. Plus she was bloody BRILLIANT.
Ginny. Again, in the books. She was one of the coolest characters and always my favourite growing up, because she was just this girl who really grew into her own and decided she wasn’t going to take any BS from anyone, including and especially not her brothers. She never apologised for dating whomever she pleased, she kicked butt at sport, and was a great friend to Luna and Neville, who others often mocked or ignored. I think she, Hermione and Luna are great feminist role models.
Hagrid. In all honesty I think Hagrid deserved to be Albus’s namesake over Snape (although who didn’t?). He risked his life time and time again to help Harry, he was kind to all, and extended that to all living creatures and animals where others chose not to. He had the biggest heart out of anyone and wasn’t afraid to show emotion. I’m really glad Jo decided not to kill him off.
