"You idiot." The Doctor laughs and bunts her forehead to his. They fit, the two of them, so perfectly that simply being near him thrills her, like the thought of coming home after a long, tiring trip away.

"I already know how important you are. My hearts, my other half. I wouldn't exist without you."

So she kisses him, deeply and passionately, past the point where they both might need to come up for air, and then some more.
