hi i wanted to draw my own au so have a snippet of scene i rewrote like 12 times and will likely rewrite again

my japanese has gotten a little shitty recently since i haven’t been able to take irl classes since the pandemic started and i tried duolingo and it sucks????

#like a) i got thru 80% of the japanese lessons on there in like an hour cause i passed thru nearly all of the tests #and b) it's too textbook on asian languages cause if you drop particles in certain context where it's like #done in day to day speech it marks the whole sentance wrong????#and then i'd check the translation with jisho to make sure it's not me and ... it wasn't #it's mostly my listening comprehension that's gotten a little weak bc like i can watch japanese shows on netflix if i have japanese closed #captioning just fine #uagbeuaegbuisegupe maybe i should buy some text books to do translation drills again #plus my kanji writing has gone to shit so that'll help that a bit #but that doesn't help with listening too much tho ://#also there's no jlpt this year in the states so i have no tangible TEST goal to work towards #i wanna start taking mandarin classes :/#but i feel like that'd get confusing two at once ://////#mandarin is more useful to me day to day but japanese is more useful for my career lol #personal #it's probably gotten worse tho just cause i don't translate kpop groups concerts anymore cause the ones who i like who speak good japanese #have for the most part turned to turds in 2019 .... like i had a backlog of cnb/fti concerts to translate in gifs and then...... shitshow #plus jongjong were the ones who were fluent fluent other than honki
