Trying a new thing here, y'all. Instead of thinking of the bad things I've realized, imma try to think of some good things I've realized.

My grandma would attentively listen to me talk about any and everything under the sun for literally HOURS straight. She'd also ask questions and genuinely want to know more about what I was talking about. Then, the next time I'd talk to her, she'd have follow-up questions and be excited for me to talk more. It's honestly one of the only times I've felt truly loved. Anyway, moving along before bad things try to ruin it.

So I JUST realized that I do the *exact same thing* with people I love when I want them to know I love them too. I thought it was just a cute little Autistic special interest to know about other people's special interests, but nope. It's rooted in love, and I got it from her.
