A belly can be a "slut waist" too. If you're not a fearful little freak
lifes so hard
Something I wish some parents would understand is that 1) kids are fully capable of enjoying full meals and seasoned food just like adults 2) kids know when they are receiving worse meals than the adults solely because they're kids and 3) when you only feed your children "kid food" (chicken nuggets, unseasoned broccoli, corn dogs, etc), those children grow up to be teens and adults who have absolutely no developed palate because they were never given the opportunity to build up their own preferences and tastes.
Yes, if your child does not like what's for dinner, then it's totally fine to make them some nuggets and mac and cheese so that they eat that night. But if you're regularly "dumbing down" meals for your kids, or giving them "lesser" versions because you don't want to spend money on steak or whatever for a 10 year old, then you are not only telling me that you think they're not worth that food, you are also stunting their diet in major ways and creating unnecessary hurdles for them as they get older.
That says what I’ve been thinking forever.
Good, non-confrontational conversations are so few and far between these days.
