The Humphries Legacy /
After the fight, Kylee and Sidney were both called to the principal’s office at separate times. They were meeting with Sidney first and told Kylee they would meet with her afterward they finished their meeting with her since they were still waiting to hear from Kylee’s parents regarding who would be willing to pick her up. Kylee would be suspended for two days from school for the incident.
They allowed Kylee to finish her lunch and as she was getting ready to sit on the bench outside the school building, Jacob approached her, asking if they could talk. She was frustrated, but she eventually relented.
Jacob: (stretches) The weather is really nice today, huh? I wore my gym shorts today because I knew that we’d be spending P.E outsi-
Kylee: So why’d you bring me out here?
Jacob: Yo, I can’t just talk to you about my day before you try to snap my neck? Ask you what you ate for lunch first?
Kylee: No. I don’t have the time as it is, so let’s just get to it.
Jacob: Aight then. Why are you being so mean to me today?
Kylee: You REALLY don’t know?
Jacob: No, otherwise I wouldn’t be asking you right now. We had so much last week and this week you’ve ignored my texts and don’t talk to me in class. I don’t get it.
Kylee: (sighs) Your Simstagram post...
Jacob: Which one? The one with me holding a couple bands in my hand?
Kylee: No...
Jacob: The one with me quoting Drake’s lyric in the hook of “I’m on One?”
Kylee: No..
Jacob: Then which one is it? (pauses) Wait, are you talking about the one with Sidney?
Sidney. Even the mention of her name sent chills of anger down her spine. As of Jacob didn’t already hear about the fight in the hallway. Who hadn’t? While there were few spectators, it didn’t take long for Sidney to try to spread the lie that she got the best of her. She hated Sidney and was angry with herself for allowing it to get to that point. Her silence must’ve given her response away, because Jacob continued speaking before she could answer.
