the whole mesut situation also just makes you think about all the other footballers who have to deal with the same bs by the ppl in their country and the media… romelu lukaku also very recently said that when he plays well he’s considered belgian, but when he plays bad he’s a belgian from congolese descent. so lets not forget all the other footballers who give their all for their national colours, but who will sadly never be appreciated and respected by everyone.
