His body moved against his own will, caught in a spell by Caster as he advanced on his master. “Please...Master...Use...The Command seals...To make me...Kill myself!” he begged, his whole body shaking as he resisted the magic that was controlling him as best as he could.
Luvia nodded grimly as tears spilled down her cheeks and spoke the words shakily. “Archer, by my command seal, I order you - kill yourself!”
But he didn’t stop. He was still compelled under the magic controlling his body, not allowing him to take his blade to himself.
“By my second command seal, I order you, Archer! Kill yourself!” Luvia cried desperately.
Caster laughed wickedly in the background. “It’s no use. His body will obey only my commands until he completed his task~”
Luvia was struck through with terror at these words. And since she had already been fighting him, she had no gems left. She was backed into a corner. This was certainly the end for her.
Odysseus snarled. He fighting to orders given to him hard. How could this end like this? How shameful this was, to kill the person he had sworn himself to! The one he had come to care for so deeply! The one who had showed him all the wonders of this modern world and allowed him to live, just a bit, a good and happy life! How was this fair?
“Get on with it, dog,” caster hissed, reasserting their will over him, tightening his leash so to speak.
A choked growl left him as he found himself unable to keep from moving forward, finally closing the distance between them and sinking his blade into her chest.
Maybe the thing that hurt him the most was that she didn’t scream or cry out. Even in death she was insistent on remaining elegant.
Caster laughed. “Now then, Archer. I think you have some other orders to attend to~”
As Caster’s magic faded from him, he was gripped by the orders of the command seals. He pulled his blade from Luvia, allowing her to collapse back against the wall.
“Odysseus, NO!” she screamed, but even as she cried out, willing him to stop, he turned his blade to his chest, and slammed it into himself with all the force he had.
He fell to his knees, pupils constricted in pain as blood poured out of his mouth. “M...master...” he choked, feebly pulling the blade from his chest and dropping it before slumping forward.
“No- No- no!!” Luvia sobbed, weakly crawling to his side, trying to ignore the pain as blood poured from her lips. She rolled him over and slumped onto his chest as her strength gave out, and weakly he wrapped his arms around her.
“I’m...sorry...Master...” he managed, holding her close. “It wasn’t...s’sposed ta...be...like this--”
He could feel her heart stop beating, and her breath cease, just before his eyes drifted closed, and he drew his last breath.
