I feel like with the week that’s in it (i.e. St Patrick’s Day on Friday) I should put together a list of Quality Irish Songs. Any thoughts?

@rue-scribe-siren replied to your post “Idk if this uncommon, but I do NOT like Gerard Butler's voice in the...”
His voice may not be good, but lordy is it DRAMATIC. So much so that in the title song when he sings 'my power over you' he kind of bites off the last note, Michael Jackson style, and it's a running gag between me and my sister to sing it like him ('my POWah OHhvah YOu-') but even more exaggerated and obnoxious . . . We two come up with comedy gold, I know
True comedy gold lol
Please ask me questions! About PotO or writing or whatever!
The Fields of Athenry by Paddy Reilly ( with lyrics )
Like honestly. I loved this song when I was younger because it has that whole thwarted love thing going on, and then my interests shifted as I got older and I moved away from it. But a few weeks back I thought of it again and I can’t. stop. listening to it. I think I have a deeper appreciation of it now that I’m older, because I know the history of the Famine and transportation better, but it hits so much deeper now than when I was little and I LOVE IT
uhm I have black curly hair and blue eyes, I'm 5'7 and very thin (my whole family is). I'm a senior painting major @ art school. I play the piano and cello but tbh I'm not that great but it's okay. I read a lot and have a clock and music box collection. I own a couple of victorian post mortem photos. I'm very shy at first but If I trust you I'm a chatterbox. Phantom is probably my favorite book behind wuthering heights and anna karenina.
I LIVE for Victorian post mortem photos. Senior painting major in school? Black curly hair? Are you Grantaire? I kid And at least you can play an instrument! It’s more than I can do. The piano is my second favourite after the violin, and I do have a slight fondness for the cello, mostly because I’ve watched Audrey Hepburn in Love in the Afternoon one too many times! It’s years since since I’ve read Wuthering Heights, and I’ve been meaning to read Anna Karenina for a long time now. I feel like we would get on well! I too am a shy secret chatterbox. Plus we’re about the same height! :D
I think us teaming up would be a great idea! My art is real shitty though ;;
I’m sure your art is better than mine! My patience has always given out once I’ve gotten to anything more time-consuming than writing, so I can guarantee mine is worse!

I'm 5'8'' and have the figure of a beanpole. Dirty blonde hair cut to a long bob and blue eyes. I spend my time either sleeping or working with no in-between and occasionally i write music. I also make movies and sing opera and try to keep a healthy lifestyle regardless of the numerous "exceptions". Should probably also mention that I'm a female.
I’m literally only about an inch shorter than you. Unfortunately I’m too broad (and a touch too fat tbh) to be ever considered anything like a beanpole. Sleeping is an excellent way to spend your time! Take it from someone who doesn’t sleep enough. I wish you well with your music and movies and opera singing. You sound very creative and I LOVE that!
