     Waiting primly for her caretaker to come retrieve her after her Academy classes, Hinata startles slightly when one of the other students - Sasuke, if she remembers right - approaches and…asks to play…?

     Wide, pale eyes blink in surprise. Her shy nature has, so far, kept her mostly to herself. She’s been too afraid to approach anyone else, so used to her clan’s company and no one else’s. “M…me…?” she asks to clarify, despite the fact she’s standing alone. There’s little mistaking his intentions.

     Looking to his hand a bit warily, she hesitates a long moment…but then gingerly takes his hand, letting him lead her back out into the Academy yard.

     The little Hyūga stumbles for a few steps before gaining her feet, following with a giddy lightness to her chest. Maybe…she’ll finally make a friend…?

Jim rarely spends time in his own dorm, but one day during the holidays he stops by and notices a huge wreath on his door. He is 100% sure it didn't come from his roommate. So he brings it up to Bones the next day who just grins sheepishly and says "well i noticed you didn't have any christmas decorations up, and you are always eyeing the decorations in the square".

I don't know what brought this on, anon, but I love it! Bones bringing a little Christmas cheer into Jim's life is just... -happydance-
