The mangaka has said qifrey and oru are “late 20s to early 30s” so that’s where that range is coming from. I think of them as being in the upper part of that bc the concept of being 28 and in charge of the wellbeing & education of four 12 yr old girls makes me shudder and any age I can throw at them I will. Easthies I wld estimate as being within five yrs from them as we see him relatively young (cld be the same age cld be like 14 but def not an adult) at the same time that Oru is 10/11ish, so I think of him as being mid/late 30s
