OP here. I am in disagreement with your commentary and would like to discuss some points on a later date, but for now I must raise an objection to the fusion cannon comment. Megatron is known for his fusion cannon. It's his most iconic item and his alt-modes depend on it. You strip him of his weapon, make him a politician in charge of a made up party that's never existed in TF, he didn't have the chest symbol for most of the series...why call him Megatron if nothing about him is real Megatron?
