All this jive dealing with Macklemore: listen, he got his song on the radio. He got a song about gay rights on the radio. I'm not saying there aren't anymore songs about gay rights, but the point is that a song about gay rights got onto the radio. And I'm a firm believer that music can change a social climate. So, that's what you should be thinking about.

Tumblr has a thing for dehumanizing anyone that is either white, straight and/or male, and Tumblr, that song has nothing to do with either of those, and you're not showing that "we accept everyone" face that you claim you have. So, either avoid the subject, or appreciate that a song about gay rights made it to the mainstream radio.
