Nate had been looking forward to finally relaxing for once after a long week of school. The weekend was always his favorite time, since he usually went out and partied with his buddies from the lacrosse team. The guys wanted to go to the Beach Bonfire that the town had decided to have after yet another tragedy that had happened. If he was gonna be honest, Nate didn’t really understand why the town always seemed to have so much going on. There was something going around town that night of the earthquake, and he had no idea how to explain any of it. Either way, he shrugged it off like he usually did and followed his friends to under the board walk, where they began splashing each other and wrestling. Nate didn’t notice that he had made a big enough splash to soak the person standing nearby, and his friends laughed at them, he raised an eyebrow and hesitated. “My bad.”
