The first killing game; skipping prologue Chapter 1
This is not a fanfiction, this is only an idea of what they're doing
Chapter 1 : Let The Curtain Call (Daily Life)
After the shocking experience yesterday, all the hostages are having a meeting at the cafeteria
To recap: All of them have woke up in some strange place, most of them are former Ultimate, they were held captive by a walking turnip-radish-whatever that thing was— And they are the "candidate" of the killing game
Seimei couldn't help but held Amaaki's hand, comforting his dearest 'twin' after everything
Seimei couldn't help but feel like there are multiple eyes looking at him as if they're seeing a ghost
The meeting start as Rasetsu Kai, the Ultimate Vet, took the lead and ask everyone if they have any suggestions
Kai suggest an investigation is a must considering the situation they're in
Izuna suggest on calling for help but Yamazaki refute the idea because he and Akira had tried and none of them could get any signal or call for help for backup
Kurai also agree with that and said he couldn't call someone outside of the building
In fact, their phone had probably been taken already by Marshmallow and replace it with Mandrapad
From what Akira could gather, the Mandrapad can only shows the map of the school, everyone's location and also each of the captives' id to synchronised with the identity scan
The fact it can detect everyone's location has already set everyone on edge—
While everyone was on edge on what to do, Byakko took a notice there's one person missing, Tensei
The Ultimate Director was nowhere to be seen in the cafeteria, before Yamazaki volunteered to check on him, Ranmaru stop him
Ranmaru had said he found that little fox staring intensely at the gym hall before going inside, it seems he was just checking around the place one more time
Thus it settle, they continued with the investigation
Amaaki was already planning to investigate the place with Seimei, then they go investigate together
Everyone investigate the place themselves
There's a locked gate at the staircase, forbidden them from going upstairs
There is gym hall, restroom for girls and boys(that's a bit funny considering there is no girl here—), cafeteria, a computer lab, infirmary, library and a hall full of dorms for each captives
While both the twins are investigating, they stumble across Tensei looking at the door in front of him
Both twins telepathically wants to ignore the man but got caught by him, Tensei gesture them to come over
Turns out the door in front of them leads to some sort of studio
Before any of them could question what this room was, Marshmallow appeared out of nowhere and introduce them to Ultimate Research Lab
The URL they are in rigt now belong to none other than Tensei, The Ultimate Director
"Oh my~ A research lab of my own~ I'm flattered!" "Don't flattered too much." "Tone down that ego of yours, stupid fox." "Woah, they didn't wrong that twins always thought the same thing."
While investigating, Seimei ask Tensei out of the blue on what kind of thing he directing? Stage director? Film director? Or a show director?
Tensei replied he director many things, but specifically the stage director. However Tensei think this Ultimate of his shouldn't be placed on him, since he only gives the actor a little push to their character, Tensei only gives an encouragement not controlled of the stage!
Talking with Tensei is like wanting to solve a puzzle, he always talk so vaguely and every single answer he gives only end up with more questions than answer
After they have finished the investigation, they gathered back to the cafeteria and discussed what they found
During the investigation, it turns out even if the window was locked sealed up completely, it seems like they can still breath in the building normally without needing some sort of oxygen, maybe there's a backup oxygen around the building somewhere
Yamazaki and Kurai investigating the computer lab, tried to open up the computer but it did not connect any signal in the building
Genbu, Seiryuu, and Byakko investigate the gym hall, they tried to find anything that Marshmallow had left behind
Akira and Kai investigate the infirmary, because of their knowledge with a certain drugs, they can agreed to hide the key that contained the poisoned drug
Douman and Ranmaru investigate the library, they check some books that contained at the bookshelf, most of it has a different kind of genre, fiction, non-fiction, and etc.
Izuna and Rintarou had investigate each of their dorm room, however it seems like some certain room have a special lock; those room are Abe Haruaki, Abe Amaaki, Hatanaka Izuna, and Miki Rintarou: they have a room that needs their identification scan
Yamazaki Makoto, Takahashi Akira, Rasetsu Kai, Takahashi Kurai, and Ebisu Isaburou: they have a room that needs a lock key
While Ashiya Douman, Karasuma Ranmaru, Byakko, Seiryuu, Genbu, and Tensei: they have no lock door
"Is this favouritism feels like—"
Then when it's the twins and Tensei turn, they talk about a certain the Ultimate Research Lab they found and it belong to Tensei
"Okay, this is definitely a favouritism—" *WACK*
As they explained about the URL from what Marshmallow had said, it should be expected for some student to have their own URL
Once the meeting and discussion are over, they end the meeting with one last dinner, cooked by Akira nonetheless(Kurai refused to eat anything Akira cook, therefore he just grab some frozen food and heat it up
They will continue the investigation tomorrow
Just as tomorrow came, they continue the investigation
They found another URL, it belongs to Genbu, The Ultimate Guitarist
They investigate the room, Seimei asked what band Genbu was in? Genbu replied back that it was just an old band of his, they took a break once Genbu got accepted at Hyakki Academy with the title he receives as the Ultimate Guitarist
After the investigation, suddenly an announcement was made by Marshmallow, demanding them all to gather in the gym hall
Once arrived, they found Marshmallow at the middle of the stage, looking ever so proud and pride; despite the cuteness it gave, it was their captor that oh-so will execute them—
Marshmallow had said that because it has so graciously gives his hostage a shelter to sleep and rest, it just won't do for the killing game it planned
Therefore, if the next 3 days, no murder ever occurred, then Marshmallow will execute one of them for not following the rules
Shocked and disbelief by that plush-captor of theirs, they protest the statement Marshmallow has give
But it was no use as Marshmallow immune to their protest and bid them farewell
After it left, most of them started to panicking, agitated and nervous
Just as before they could start discussing on what to do next, Seimei notices Amaaki quickly left the room, probably back to his room
Seimei quickly followed after his twin, after he tells the people that closer to him about Ame leaving the room quickly
Upon arriving at Amaaki's room, Seimei tried to comfort his twin, who is probably nervous and agitated over this kidnapping; knowing of how easily scared Ame was, Seimei could get a few words out of Ame from the other side
Amaaki tell Seimei to not worry about him, he is only stay in his room to calm himself
Seimei understand his twin's fear and left his twin alone
FTE 1/2~ (Will make a short free time event; Tensei, Akira, Rintarou)
After that, nighttime came and the nighttime announcement turned on, it is time for the hostages to sleep, those who come out after the clock strike 10 P.M are not allowed to sleep outside of their dorms
Tomorrow morning came, Seimei goes to check over on Amaaki, Amaaki seems to not feeling well again because of yesterday, Seimei promised to give him breakfast at the front of his door
Just as Seimei arrived at the cafeteria, a fight has started; Byakko and Douman seems to be taking the lead of their bickering, Genbu tries to calm Byakko down while Suzaku tries to ease Douman's wrath, Seiryuu was left in the middle and don't know which side to take
Seimei notices how the tension in the room seems to put everyone in down mood, except for Akira, who happily eat his breakfast with no care
Seimei asked Izuna and Rintarou on what happened before he arrived, it turns out that someone had left a letter at the dining hall, it was only a single letter and yet had already caused a disturbance first thing in the morning
What was written was; "There's a mastermind among us."
The mastermind, the one who planned all of this and take all of them hostages
Byakko seems so keen that Douman set this all up but Douman deny that accusation because he would not stood that low to create this whole game for entertainment
They all had no idea who could possibly write it
Just as Seimei could take a breakfast for himself, Izuna asked him where Amaaki and Tensei could be right now?
Amaaki was in his room, Seimei was planning to bring his breakfast, but when Tensei's name was coming up, it brought back everyone to reality
Tensei was nowhere to be seen from the morning, and none of them seen him around the building or in the cafeteria
Kai quickly tell all of them to look for Tensei, and all of them quickly left the room
They did found Tensei, along with Amaaki, at the male restroom
Amaaki quickly run towards Seimei and hug him, hide behind his twin as he look at Tensei suspiciously
Tensei grinning as he saw everyone has arrived, he exclaimed how he was glad now everyone is here as he pulled out a video tape
No one knows the content of it nor have they seen the tape during their investigation; Tensei had said he quickly start the investigation without them
Before any of them, specifically Byakko, who seems to be ready to punched Tensei, Kurai immediately suggested that all of them watched the content from the tape
They go to the computer lab, and found the vcr, quickly grab a cable and an old TV
They put the videotape on the front of the vcr and the TV started to flickering
Then they heard a voice;
"Is it on?" "I think so—" "Hold up, don't start now! I'm not ready yet—" "C'mon~ It's not like we show your naked body or something—" *WACK* "SHUT THE FUCK UP, BIRDBRAIN!" WAAAAHHH! AACHAN IS SO MEAN!!" "Quiet down! Both of you— Honestly, why are you two even here if this is how you're gonna act—" "Don't talk you grade-below-than-20-marks." "WHAT THE FUCK—" "AAAHHH! BYAKKO IS ANGRY!!" "******-dono, have you started the recording now?" "I still don't quite know if it has started..." "Tch, what's the use of Class Rep if he doesn't know how camera work?" "YOU—" "There is a tiny light shows at the front of the lenses, it means we are recording, Doujimaru-sama~" "Really? Oh! Thank you, Tensei. You're the best." "Fufu~ Happy to oblige~" "Now I can record my baby twins when they're born! I'm gonna be a big brother!" "Eh~ Really? I can't imagine ******-kun as a big brother." "Fufu~ I bet they're as adorable as you are now..." "Tch, they better not be a mini you. I think having one is already enough. Two more is a disaster..." "T-three **‐******-sama...." "Uh oh, Byakko is going to faint again..." "Don't your parents have any names they have in mind for you siblings, ******-dono?" "Hmmm, I think it will be—"
Suddenly the video of the videotape had suddenly cut off; those content in the tape, was a memory video of those in there
Seiryuu looks like he was about to cried, Genbu has a conflicted look on his face, Byakko looks like he was holding himself back from the tears and agitated over the video, Douman look away from the video from the very beginning when he realise what the content was, Ranmaru looks like he was bored from the very beginning when the video started playing, and Tensei... Tensei has an unreadable expression on his face
While the others look confused but they also look at the six people that mentioned or seems to know about the video
When no one was willing to speak up, Genbu says this video was an old video memories of them. However he can't seems to glance or remember the person who holds the camera and the one called "Doujimaru", it did not help that the sound of the video tape seems to censored this person so much that it almost like the person does not want their name to be remembered
Kurai asked if they remember when this was taken
Genbu couldn't think or recall the date, but he knows it might be around the time the six of them before attending the Hyakki Academy
That means all of them can conclude that they have graduated from Hyakki Academy
Just as before any of them could take the videotape, Tensei quickly grab it
Byakko was about to ask what Tensei is planning with the video tape, Tensei quickly said he have something to do with the video tape
Considering he has his own URL, he can study the videotape and see if there are any part he can fix
He promised the others, that once he have done with the tape, he will call all of them again for an update
While there are some seems to believe in Tensei, there are some who sceptical of what Tensei is planning
The people that are mentioned or in the video are all seems so agitated and nervous of how they see that same video memory of theirs
It seems so weird to see themselves young and friendly with one another; but now...
Ranmaru then remind them that they shouldn't focus much of what the tape shows; they are in a killing game and need to find a way out
The mastermind probably used this to put pressure on them, on why they did it? That's still a mystery
Seimei accompany Amaaki to the cafeteria; once they arrived, Seimei asked why Tensei bring Ame with him to investigate
Amaaki had never planned to investigate with him, he thought Seimei had come back with the breakfast; once he opened his door, Tensei was the one at the door and before Ame could close it, he was pulled out of his room by Tensei
Seimei had to held himself from going out and find Tensei to beat the living shit out of him for scaring his twin
Once Ame has finished eating, Seimei and Amaaki accompany each other to investigate
They found a door that lead to basement; a basement containing storage room, the incinerator to dumb garbage and.... one locked room..
Once they gathered back to the dining hall, the twins start with their part about the basement and the rooms it has
Once the part about the locked door came into the play, all of them quickly agreed to check it out
Upon arriving and seeing the locked door, some with physical Ultimate, Izuna and Kurai, tried to smash the door open
Some tried to inspecting the door, if it was breakable or not; considering the two Ultimates tried to break it, it was unbreakable
They can conclude whatever is in this door seems to be the reason they're here, maybe their captor that controlled Marshmallow...
Before they could discuss further on how to breakdown the door, Marshmallow appeared before them and warn them to not damage the door! Just from those statement, they questioned Marshmallow that if it's true the mastermind was in there
Marshmallow then look startled and tried to find excuses that it got nothing to do with the mastermind, but everyone can see that is the fattest lie that tiny thing could come up with
Izuna threatened to break the door down, but Marshmallow quickly warn them once again that if they break it down, Marshmallow will execute him on the spot
That set Izuna on edge, some also believe it and get nervous, while some have a doubt that tiny thing just talk big
When Marshmallow sees that they understand the situation they're in, Marshmallow proudly proclaimed of how merciful Marshmallow is, and before Marshmallow leave, Marshmallow reminds them once again the days limit they should commit a murdered before Marshmallow execute any of them at the end
Again, that sets everyone on edge and they go back upstairs to discuss other things that's not involved the basement
FTE 2/2 (Genbu, Tensei, Douman)
On the 2nd day, Tensei come to Seimei's room first thing in the morning
Tensei tell Seimei that he videotape he has seems a bit difficult to fix, it was such a surprise that Tensei can't seems to recall the person who record the video but he vividly remember everyone shows in the vudeo
Tensei had to admit it was such a long time since he and the others get along but it seems to be a bit of stretch if you ask him
Seimei asked Tensei what's the reason behind he and the others breakup?
Tensei: It's not like a breakup... More like a break off the friendship... Tensei: I think our friend group is more of a luck than just connection. Considering that Genbu, Seiryuu, Byakko and Ranmaru has been friends since childhood, Ranmaru and Douman have met when they're in their Elementary School. Then came me, who's started to befriend them at Middle School... Tensei: It was such a surprising things that I befriended with those guys... I don't hold any connection or feelings with them and yet, I am present in the video... Tensei: ... Tensei: Whoever record this video and leave the tape in the male restroom must be the mastermind and knows about our history... Tensei: In fact, I think they know us too much... A bit much...
Just after that statement leaves Seimei in a state of nervous; he had only met Tensei like a few days ago and now Tensei becoming more and more suspicious each day they've been here
Tensei bid his farewell and go back to his URL to study more about the tape
The day came with such a simple and normally, no murdered happened, meaning one more day left until they all will be executed
Nighttime came, and Seimei bid his good night on Amaaki and go back to his room
Just as he almost being consumed by his dream, suddenly a smoke alarm was heard
That woke Seimei up and as he open the door, everyone else also heard of the smoke alarm, all of them came out of their room; except for Tensei, who's room remained close
None of them know what the caused of the smoke, therefore all of them quickly look around to see the caused of it
Seimei quickly grab Amaaki to accompany him, Izuna and Rintarou also followed after them as well to check around the building
That's when they go to the basement and search around the area, then to the locked door
However upon seeing the supposed-locked door, it was unlocked and the smoke seems to come out of the room
And what greets them upon entering was none other than Tensei, the Ultimate Director, lying on the ground with a disfigured look of the dead on his face. Besides him was a videotape from before, and a matches of fire stick.
