Halfway through the war for garden gnomes, Ruki lost sight of Crea. This distressed her greatly, and her thoughts often wandered towards the possibility that he may have been brutally murdered off-screen or something along those lines, she never considered that he might have pulled off some sort of camouflage business.
She had even prepared a coffin and a gravestone for his funeral—until she remembered how people had said the dead were brought back to life on this island somehow, which she recently found out to be true because… well… she saw some of those who were killed in the event in the Infirmary—breathing and well, or not well but breathing regardless. They weren’t acting like zombies either. Thank god.
Then again, this whole thing might have been yet another joke and they were just filming for a movie or something in the amusement park. The deaths were faked, probably. It just seemed so strange that… there’d be a way to literally revive the dead. It couldn’t be possible. Funerals existed for a reason—people couldn’t bring back the dead. Once they’re gone, they’re gone for good. The deaths broadcasted during the games were all faked. There were special effects to make it seem more realistic. That was it.
However, she was still quite concerned about Crea’s whereabouts, so here she was, running around to every corner on the island while yelling on the top of her lungs. “Crea-san!! Where are you?! Please answer!!”
