Follow up, because why not. Listen people. I understand the issue, I understand people reacting badly to this, and I agree that some of the things this cast said, Chris Wood’s comment for example, was not okay to say at all.

I’m just here seeing all this hate, seeing so many people getting hurt, but also taking this to levels that it isn’t on. Especially people that are saying that in this interview the cast deranged them of the ability to ship and told them that their sexuality or shipping doesn’t matter. What the fuck? Yes I fucking get people being upset, I’m not going to pretend that I’m okay with some of the things that were said. I’m not, I don’t think that they’re perfect, I think everyone can make mistakes and sometimes it gets way out of hand. I think that this is a fucking important issue, but so much of this is put out to be bigger than it should be.

I just hate that this fandom, and yeah the fucking cast to, is making people feel this way. So many people are upset, myself included. And I don’t know everything, I’m not brilliant or wise and have the difference between right and wrong. I have no right to claim that I do. I do have a right to say that I’m disappointed in a lot of the reactions I have seen, in the response I have seen from so many people.

I’m not saying none of this is the cast’s fault. And I want to say once again that I understand people getting offended, but I am so extremely upset at how rude people are being, and how much this is blown way out of proportion. But I’m not fucking pretending that this isn’t an issue, that this isn’t something that has a right to be responded and reacted to.

But I read these things people are saying, and Jeremy Jordan’s apology to all of it. And I think that this is not how we should take this, fucking being even more rude and making even more people get hurt is not going to help anyone, and it’s not going to get this ship or show the attention it actually deserves.

Just please don’t make this one thing define everything about the show and it’s cast and fandom. I don’t want his ruining all the beautiful things this show actually represent, and please just remember that this isn’t just about a ship, this is affecting real people and making a lot of people feel hurt. It just needs to be thought through what we put out and say about it.

I understand this and how it’s offensive and hurt people. But I’m just so not okay with how a lot of people are acting over it.
