Dream wanted to slow down. To settle in a world of his own. To take the time to explore and appreciate in his own time. No manhunts or speedruns. Just... slow and steady.
He had George with him, and the two found somewhere far away. They start slowly, gathering resources to build a house; something neither of them had ever really taken the time to do properly before.
Before they choose to plant their roots, the pair build a portal. Upon entering, spawning suspended high above the lava of the Nether, they begin to build out and explore. Dream is curious, taking in everything. He'd not taken the time to explore and learn before. He's amazed by the nearby Crimson Forest and Nether flora, and in awe of the basalt terrain they found further down. George is just as fascinated, vaulting gaps and brushing through flora alongside Dream with an excited glow in his eye.
This exploration - these Nether bridges- were just the beginnings of their home. The first stones laid out. Something monumental yet meaningless in the same breath.

A fence □ is placed in the bottom center to turn the repellant entrance into an exorcism arch
The Dreamon must stand on the fence for the exorcism ritual
Hunters must stand exactly 3 blocks away from the fence, holding an egg
[ritual chant] I am one | A soul | A higher power | I wish for this no more | I will be fixed
After the ritual chant [which the hunters and possessed person say, if possible] the hunters throw a stack of eggs at the Dreamon, before "logging off" [turning away and "hiding", so that they cannot see or interfere with the process]
A part of the process involves an explosion, which seemingly kills the Dreamon
Tests should be run to concluse if an individual is still possessed or not after a ritual exorcism. Tests include questions based upon dreamon mannerisms, questioning recent events, inducing panic with potential triggers
If the ritual goes wrong [meaning the results are temporary] anything involving the ritual could trigger the Dreamon to attack
There are special potions that allow hunters to injure dreamons while not injuring each other
[Spectral arrows] allow hunters protection from dreamons, but it also causes hunters aura to glow in a way that makes them visible to the dreamons
Dreamons cannot stand on tilled soil
Hunters have a potion that creates a (small) saftey field of bubbles, large enough for 2-4 hunters if they stay close to each other. This saftey field allows hunters to be protected from dreamons and allows them close contact without fear of harm [only lasts for a short period of time]
Some dreamons are more powerful than others
There are dreamon hybrid types, known as Transmutant Dreamons, that are considered half player, half dreamon. They have the ability to switch between player and dreamon, making them harder to locate. Transmutant dreamons are not a traditional possession, and their souls are more interlinked. It is unknown if an exorcism would work to permanently lock away the dreamon part intermixed in their soul.
