Okay so why did nobody told me about the new 5sos song older????? Why do I just get to find out about it???? but for real emma I have just listened to it for the first time and I'm losing my shit, I am going insane. I don't even know where to begin!!!! mais i am so delighted by this, pls DO go insane in my inbox <33 i would love love LOVE to hear all your thoughts on older!!! it really is one of those songs that u need to sit down and just properly Listen To for a few hours, at least, just to try and comprehend the meaning and magnitude of those amazing lyrics (especially paired with the piano, ur so right i was going ~feral~ over that when i first heard it). this was one of those songs that they dropped in the middle of the night for me (yay! i love time zones!), so i woke up and had to deal with this song at first thing in the morning, which predictably did not go too well. (literally could not stop crying i was such a fucking mess)

there's something so incredibly powerful and beautiful abt luke and sierra's voices together, idk exactly what it is but they just go really well together?? they sound lovely together and they just ARE lovely together and i could literally start crying rn if i think abt all this too much so im gonna stop now but THANK YOU SM FOR THIS!!!!!!! i love hearing from you!!!! pls feel free to share any thoughts you have i would be beyond happy to talk with you!!!!

oh my god i just wanna move to a city where no one knows me and get lost in the streets and spend hours in corner cafes reading books in foreign languages that i got in second hand bookstores and write poems on napkins and leave them on my table for someone else to find and pass the night hours in an attic breathing worlds into life on an old typewriter and float in between paintings in art galleries for hours on end and discover poets and philosophers who lived hundreds of years ago who can show me that somehow humanity never really changes and to read and to write and to live and i guess most of all i just want to redefine and reinvent myself free of the influence of expectations society have of me is that really too much to ask

11. October. 2020 - ONE OF MY DREAMS AS A BOOK LOVER

Today I lived the dream of every book nerd on this goddamn planet. Have I met one of my favorite authors?... no. [stay safe, Covid still exists! Even when it's your favorite author]

Have I got a Amazon-Coupon, so I can buy as many books as I want?... no.

Have I met someone in real life who likes reading as much as I do?...no. [haven't you listened to me? There is a virus out there AND I'm an introvert so...]

Have I watched a good movie adaptation?... no.

A good TV-show adaptation?... Yes!.... Really?... NO OF COURSE NOT! [ there are barely any adapted shows that I like, animes exepted]

So what happened?

It rained all day long! Everywhere was mist, the smell of falling raindrops and this beautiful mood, that whispers: "Let's read."

I graped my favorite oversize hoodie, a pair of sweat pants, a big cup of herb tea and the book "The Name of the Wind" by Patrick Rothfuss. I sat myself on the wing chair next to the window, listened to the rain, put some Lofi-jazz music on and enjoyed the day. It was perfect. Fabulous. Magnificent.

Unfortunately it lasted for like only an hour. Thanks mom! So I had to wait till evening and than I repeated this procedure. It was cleary wonderful. [imagine me saying that with a British accent]

Yeah, for a few hours my world today was perfect.
