#My adult life has been really hellish and difficult and life keeps fucking me over #for years i withdrew and withdrew and sat in misery and waited for something or someone to come save me #but i realized at a certain point that nothing was coming. not specifically out of malice its just. no one can help if you dont let them #no one really knew what was going on so of course they couldnt help #eventually I had to make the choice to save myself. actively make an effort to make connections and communicate and pull myself out #i'm still working on it. life is still hell atm but things are in the process of improving #its hard to continue to get better and make that effort #this comic is meant to reflex that struggle. a lot of days i really want to just isolate and spiral down again bc it feels familiar and eas #but im trying hard to fight that. no one can save me but myself and part of saving yourself is accepting and seeking others help #anyways tag rant done. this comic has a somewhat harsh tone but its deeply hopeful to me #comic #original art #rot posts #rots art #art #*reflects not reflex sorry my brain doesnt work sometimes lmao

But I ultimately might would go for the house #JUST becuase it would be my Dream House which means it would already meet mostly all of my specifications #and what I might be looking for. which would save a lot of time searching or customizing/rennovating.#Also because I could use that as a way to leave the US lol.. like .. if I get to choose my dream location.. couldnt I just choose some othe #country?? It seems like unless you're okay with living in #a small town or kind of far away from the city - even some SMALL houses in majorly populated areas in the US will be like #$600.000 - $900.000 or something. like that would be MOST of my money. Which I know you could just pay partially and make #payments on it but idk.. in the option of just outright owning the house it seems like it'd end up being cheaper.#Plus I would want to own it fully asap because I'd be afraid of losing it somehow otherwise. like it being taken for medical bills or #something. which I thought was supposed to be - not IMPOSSIBLE - slightly more complicated legally if you actually have #paid off the house in full. I guess the issue then would be utilities and property tax and such. But I feel like thats overcome-able??#Like I could just stipulate that my Dream House has a little furnished addition or something and then find someone #with money and be like 'Look you can live in this extremely nice area with amazing ameneties and updated everything and ALL you have #to do is give me money to cover the utilities and property tax.'' or something like that. Like the little furnished addition is nicer #than the actual house. they have their own pool and spa and movie room or something and Ill also cook all their meals for them #or whatever (how luxurious it would be depeneds on how high the property tax actually is/how much I would need to entice them into #why it's a good deal for them to pay it for me lol). idk... something like that.. #gravity falls #ford pines #Stan pines #ford mentions in journal 3 that he did tests on Mabel soos and dipper to make sure they weren’t affected by the portal radiation #and in lost legends he says that on the day he arrived he scanned Mabel’s entire molecular structure #which implies that he did that as part of the tests mentioned in portal 3 #the fact that he knows how many enzymes Mabel has implies to me that he memorized stuff about his family from the tests he did #because knowing a bunch of weird niche biological facts about his loved ones is perhaps part of how he shows affection #he doesn’t mention any weirdly specific details about Stanley in the entry about him in journal 3 #just stuff that is observable from looking at him #which to me makes it seem like he didn’t do any of the testing to Stanley that he did to the other 3 #despite the fact that Stan was exposed to portal radiation the longest #probably because he was mad at Stan at the time #but anyway. after they make up ford definitely did all kinds of tests on him #he did canonically do tests on Stan related to his mind/mindscape stuff #to see how he was recovering from the memory gun and make sure there were no reminents of bill #as mentioned in TBOB #but I feel like he’d also do miscellaneous other tests on Stanley just for funsies #because of the aforementioned “loved knowing a bunch of niche biological things about his loved ones” thing #Stanley pines #stanford pines #original post

Final manifestations for Book 7?

I'm trying REALLY hard not to build up any solid expectations, because I wanna go in ~fresh~! they're already so far away from anything I thought would happen (not in a bad way, I'm just accepting that I'm on Miss Yana's Wild Ride at this point and we're seeing this thing through 'til the end, by gum). so it's nothing too major, but:

they've been handing new crying expressions out like candy lately, I want to see some delicious Malleus tears.

honestly I want everyone to cry buckets. their tears sustain me. the more Silver angst specifically I get the happier I am.

I'm 100% expecting Grim's arc (and probably whatever's going on with Crowley) to be its own episode, but a nice hook to leave us hanging on would be good!

Okay, but can we talk about the fact that Caine's plan for this adventure, that he's been planning for a long while, pretty explicitly involved going on a date with Jax?!

Jax, who just has keys to everything for some unknown reason. Jax who, in the favorite characters contest bio, Caine said was obviously gonna win — despite his very blatantly trying to rig the whole thing. Jax who has been spiraling for a while, yet has never outright snapped at Caine before, and who Caine's shown a very subtle preference for in the past.

Jax, who during the fast food episode didn't seem to believe Caine was gonna do anything to him, and who looked mighty betrayed to be proven wrong. Jax who fearfully mumbled about how "Caine couldn't…" during the suggestion box episode, just after having his mind messed with. Jax who confronted Caine in the finale of Episode 7, mad as all hell to have ever believed a word the ringmaster said.

(Jax, who pushed the bright red button anyway. Who chose to stay. Even knowing what he knows, even after we saw his trust being eroded in real time. For his own reasons, of course, but he did — and Caine was ecstatic. So, so happy to be picked as the lesser of two evils.)

I just. I am. What a way to have my favorite rarepair confirmed, but at what cost—
