He strums, just a few notes and hums a ditty in an attempt to convince Geralt of his mastery. Jaskier knows none of this is necessary — but the monster hunter is dead set on his not performing on their very special day ; how ludicrous!

“I will sing us the most romantic ballads and have the party so jovial it will be known across the continent as the wedding of the century.” He beams, foot work as graceful as a dancer as he nearly skates around the white wolf. “Mayhaps a little fish mongers daughter to get them riled.” He grins, breaking into the chorus before collapsing into a fit of laughter. “Oh please let me play, Geralt, darling, dearest. It will be the best gift you could possibly bestow.”
