This weekend I put on a dress, we took a little drive, went wine tasting, went to the beach, and checked out an insanely beautiful sunset. And we didn’t even leave our island. When we lived in the city I used to plan our weekends packed full of getting out to places like this because it felt like a vacation. I often have to pinch myself as a reminder that here is now our home. There was a time I thought I would never leave the city. I was a city girl through and through. I never would have guessed that this little island would make me so happy. Everyday here feels like an adventure.
