I majored in philosophy at UCSC

I’m going back to school for nursing

The movies that have been in my mental list of favorite movies for the longest time are probably Jaws and Alien

I live really, really close to Burger Records but I don’t go there as often as I’d like because money

I play guitar (not very competently though) and piano (pretty poorly) but I enjoy doing so

I feel weird about picking favorites and I don’t know who’s already been sent one of these but if you send me a question I’ll send one back your way.

Okay so I read the last couple of posts on your blog so just disregard the last question. I experienced the same thing in high school, but it's this whole thing has become more common/frequent since I've moved to Chicago.

I've stayed in Chicago for a month last year and while I was there I did an internship at a small company and there were only two other people of color there. It was weird. I grew up in Southern California so I'm not used to that. I think the majority of my aunt's (who I stayed with) friends in Chicago are white too. I have never known that many white people so for someone to say I look white is strange. It feels like they are insinuating something about the way I act.
