Ugggh, I don’t even know how I got into that??? I mean, if you look at it, Bucky’s much happier when he’s functioning in a dog-like manner (dependent on pack, follower) than in cat-like manner (making his own decisions, kind of an asshole). If only he could go back to the people who really served as masters to him!!

So glad you liked it! Thank you. And yes, AHFOW definitely uses a ton of those cliches. I always wanted to write one of those, and that was sort of my stab at it. I’ll have to check out that website b/c there are just so many that I loved and would like to see in this fandom b/c Steve and Tony are the perfect archetypal characters for those tropes, tbh. I have the perfect idea for a Marriage to Salvage Honor fic that I’m totally ripping off an old paperback that I think I still have tucked away in the back of my closet. There are just so many of those that would work really well with Stony. *sigh* I need them all, lol.

Dudeeeeee though, I always pictures Bahorel having lots of sisters?? So she’s an older sister, probably, and she runs off with Thenardier who Bahorel HATES and the whole family hates and they pretend they’re not talking to Madame Thenardier, but they keep tabs. And one day Bahorel gets tired of not hearing from her and finds them in that crappy inn and is like “yo, this is how you treat kids?” and just steals Eponine, Azelma, Baby Gavroche, and Cosette all away. Maybe Valjean is in the midst of helping Fantine then, and so helps Bahorel with that. Valjean can take Cosette still and Bahorel just takes his nieces and nephews home to his parents, leaves the girls with his mom and dad, and raises Gavroche himself. Then maybe he recognizes Valjean at the barricades and is like YO you are a good dude and Valjean saves them all and then no one dies isn’t that great?

While I don’t know what ‘here’ means, you just saved me from ultimately replacing that word in my vocabulary, and stomp half a continent over to my sister to demand why/how she’s mislead me so.
