I BECAME AN ARTIST FOR A CLIMATE MAGAZINE AT UNIVERSITY WOOOOOO

When you find a friend who cries with you when you part, when you find a friend who sneaks up behind you and scares the fuck out of you as a greeting after not seeing them for months then wrapping you up in the tightest warmest hug, when you find a friend who gets so happy they would literally cry over a small meaningful gift, when you find a friend who laughs with you for being your own silly self, when you find a friend who listens and gets what's going on in your head, when you find a friend for whom you don't care how much you spend or how far you travel or how scared you are to go out on your own to meet up, when you find a friend you love so dearly, no matter how little time they have been in your life so far or what situation you met them in, do your best to keep them in your life. They are rare gems in a draining society.

And I'm so very grateful I have one in my life.

HEYO I AM BACKKKK

Yeah... I have been inactive for a super long hot minute because my life got thrown into shitloads of CRAZY including some super dark bits and then some people issues (still ongoing unfortunately) and then BAM! I go into the jungle and the sea for a month on a BIOLOGY EXPEDITION!!! (and btw I’ve got another 12-day appointment with another jungle in like a week yay)

So yeah! I AM BACK AND FEELING GREAT and I have sooo much planned. I am very excited!!!

Tis gonna be a great new start. And more art is on the way to KEEP WATCHING THIS SPACE

Spider hunting comes with some unexpected benefits for a lonely introvert like me:

I don’t normally care what people think of me, but since I now look like a total lost nuthead staring at hedges and fences, I have become pretty much immune to people staring at me. I am too focused on catching my spoodies you idiots.

As soon as I tell someone I am looking for spoodie webs, people tend to smile awkwardly and back away slowly, wishing me the best of luck for my project.

And sometimes I am lucky and get some really friendly granddad looking guy come over and help poke a spoodie into my vial.

I am learning that the spoodies I am catching aren’t so bad afterall; in fact they are clumsy round leggy balls that can’t climb up the sides of the vial.

Toothpicks are life. Ultimately, one of the most useful bits of wood I have laid my hands on.

Downside:

Damn I wanna draw but I’m so tired from spoodies at the end of the day I just crash and watch anime

MY EXAMS ARE FINALLY DONE OMG IM FREE I CAN DRAW MORE STUFF WITHOUT GUILT AND WATCH ANIME AND DRAW MORE AND UNPACK MY STUFF AND CLEAR UP MY FLOORSPACE AND SLEEP AND AHHHHHHHHH

Oh and I can get back to making The Domestic Life of Thistle Katt, and build on my BNHA Song Soulmate AU, and draw other ships, more Rimuru slimes huhuhuhu

I just woke up to a big leggy spider inches from my head on the wall and used up all my spider catching skills to nab it in one of my spider vials to release later outside. Back to sleep.
