(1). How many WIP’s do you currently have?

Oh god, I write a lot of fic’s and I only ever finished one 😭 I have 56 currently…

(3). What’s the last thing you looked up for a fic?

I think the last thing I looked up I think was bentos, specifically how to make one and what they usually have and the health benefits of certain foods in the bento for a Thomaru 5+1 fic.

(7). What fic are you the proudest of?

(Even though I haven’t finished it yet) It’s a Thomaru fic where Sometime after the fight against L.L. Audun, Subaru uses his few days off to go back to Panjourney and convinces Thomas to come with him. Subaru learns something about him and his partner after talking with his mother that causes Subaru to spiral. (That was the summary) It’s a fic that deals with Subaru struggling with his sexuality due to it being the 80’s and all and the fact that public approval is so important in Hero TV that them being queer would be really difficult (it isn’t necessarily that way for Nathan because she owns her own company so she doesn’t have to worry about getting fired or anything like that even if people probably still don’t make it easy for them) I’m just really proud of how I wrote some of his internal struggles and how close I am to finishing it AND that I was able to start a part two to the fic and everything!! I’m also so proud of this one scene where Subaru is just looking at Thomas while he was sleeping (not in weird way, hopefully it doesn’t sound like that!!) and his heart HURTS because he knows what he wants but his brain is yelling at his heart to be quiet because he shouldn’t feel like he does! I think I did a really good job at describing struggling with one’s sexuality (at least from my own experiences) and I’m very happy with that whole scene in general! I’m just so proud of it, and even though it isn’t finished yet it is the most I’ve written for a fic so far!! Sorry for rambling 😅

(17). Do you regularly discuss your fics, or do you keep most of the info to yourself before you start posting?

I would love to discuss my fic’s! I just don’t really have anyone to discuss them WITH 😅 Sometimes my friends will let me talk about them but not ver often at all unfortunately 🤔

(22). What is one of your favorite tropes to write?

Ummmm, pining Character A but they don’t understand how to show their feelings and Character B takes it the wrong way and just thinks they’re being an ass 😭 I also like Character A has never felt this way for anyone and they tell Character B how they feel not because they want it to develop a relationship but because they just want to let the other one know how much they mean to them and how, even if their feelings aren’t reciprocated, they can’t go another day without the person knowing that they are everything to someone, they’re everything to them, not even in a romantic sense just in general.

(37). Favorite genre?

I’m not quite sure what this means so I’m so sorry if I get this wrong! But my favourites are angst and 5+1 things! I also almost always love Hanihaki AU’s but I don’t know if that counts as a genre of fan fiction 🤔

Now, onto Thomaru...

1. On a scale of 1 - 10, how would you rate this ship?

Mmmh. 5.5, personally. I can never decide if I ship them or if I like them better as reluctantly found siblings. In any case, I want them to find so much happiness together! Subaru crying with joy for Thomas and his sister absolutely melted my heart 🥹

2. Favorite thing about this ship?

The way in spite of all the contrasts and bickering they just can't help caring so much about each other. Thomas will not admit it, Subaru will blurt it out unexpectedly, but at the end of everything both of them just do care a lot and that's beautiful.

14. Is this a ship that you like?

Yeah. I don't have a lot of strong personal feelings about it, but it's good and I'm happy many people enjoy it greatly!

19. What was the moment in canon that made you go "Yeah, I ship it"? If they haven't met in canon, what influenced you to ship the characters?

Mh. I think the moment I mentioned before, with Subaru crying after reuniting Thomas and Ruby, was definitely a big one! But I also, perhaps strangely, liked the moment when Thomas went to tell Subaru he was leaving. It showed a mutual respect that's quite significant to me.

I wrote a Thomas and Subaru fic if anyone is interested:

He rolls onto his back as annoyance at Subaru for being a dick, at Jungle for putting them together, and at his stupid phone for not charging, creeps under his skin leaving it itchy and irritated.

“Hey, Thomas?”

His eyes shoot open as he glances around the room looking for whoever is trying to talk to him in the middle of the night.

“You awake?” Oh you have to be joking.

Or 5 times Thomas falls asleep to Subaru’s voice through their shared wall and the one time he doesn’t.
