The Show Must Something Something
I have a cold. Sore throat, stuffy nose, hacking cough.
But I'm opening in COLD SNAPS tonight at The WorkShop. I am spending today asleep, storing up energy for my 14 minutes of intense survival in the Yukon.

Coming Up...
I am opening with Richard Kent Green in Greg Bodine's TO BUILD A FIRE in WorkShop Theater's COLD SNAPS, an evening of short plays on November 30th. Just saw the run-thru last night--it's going to be an evening of thoughtful and fun pieces.
On December 17th I am appearing at The Players in Project Shaw's reading of SAINT JOAN, Shaw's Pulitzer-prize winning masterpiece, along with a cast of much better known and experienced actors. I am thoroughly intimidated.
My Next Show: Something To Warm Yourself By in December
Happy and pleased and proud to announce my next show: a short play by Greg Bodine, based on the Jack London story TO BUILD A FIRE. It will be part of this year's COLD SNAPS, the annual December evening of one-acts at the WorkShop Theater.
Very excited to be working with Richard Kent Green for the first time in this two-person piece. And if you saw me in I, CARPENTER at Manhattan Theatresource, you know Greg's a great writer. We're being directed by Thomas Coté, who did a smashing job directing me and Anne Fizzard in THE TRUTH-TELLERS, the first act finale of last year's COLD SNAPS.
Working On My Russian...
I am reading the role of Sergei Olgokorov (an interrogator for the SVR) in EXCHANGING MINKA by William C. Kovacsik. It's this Saturday, June 16th at 3PM at The WorkShop Theater, 312 West 36th Street, 4th floor and it's open to the public...unlike, say, Lubianka Prison. Thomas Cote is directing--we've worked before on THE TRUTH-TELLERS and LIGHTNING FROM HEAVEN.
My first spy story since reading Greg Bodine's COMPANY MEN.
UPDATE: Switching over to the Swiss Army Actor in this cast: six roles, no waiting. It's a promotion!
