I think I just have a weakness for the early-mid 20th century and failed fascist projects, I'm really not that hard to impress, I guess I also care about prose and like emotions
In case you might be wondering how I acquired this hefty assignment, to review Gravity’s Rainbow, roughly halfway through my years abroad (1
Dear, lark of the sanguine
I loved Gravity's Rainbow. It is an amazing Novel. Do you have Advice for reading Mason & Dixon? 🌈 If you are forced into a Katabasis, I do sincerely hope that it is only a Sojourn. - sincerely,

To the Postmodern Frog,
Lovely name, firstly, and I appreciate the Well-wishing. In reading Mason & Dixon, I found its Pynchon Wiki to be a most benevolent Companion,— in particular, its page Annotations and alphabetickal Index. I imagine you’re familiar, after G.R., but in the event you are not, I cannot stress enough its navigational value for the Ocean that is this book. Beware the Rabbit Holes you’ll find, they’re far too fun to fall in.
I will add that, while I was fond of the old Style from the start, there was a Moment, ‘round fifty pages, where I felt something shift, a simple turn of Understanding which tickl’d my Brain just so. I did not truly fall in love with the Book until well into the American years—three, four hundred pages?—but the Language morph’d, felt surprisingly natural, sooner than I’d thought it would.
Gravity’s Rainbow, ah…? I’ve yet to read Pynchon’s most well-known Masterpiece, although I’ve been looking forward to it;— in passing, I have collected the strangest Perception of what I’ll face, when eventually I do. If you’ve any suggestions for the Approach, I will likewise take them gladly.
Yr obt svt,
Lark
P.S. - if you do read M&D, and you’d like to share Thoughts about it, my messages are open 👀
I like to think that Pynchon will release some book dedicated purely to Internet stuff. like there's going to be a character named Red Pill whose the main villain. and also there's going to be an egirl named Kitty Lovecraft who is secretly a member of a secret society dedicated to making yaoi ao3 fanfics pro Mr. house from fallout new Vegas, meanwhile, a zombie Spinoza will become a Femcel.
