a tip for teachers, lecturers and such.

Don't use the phrases "obviously... XYZ happens", "everyone knows that... " . I know it's not intentional and that you mean no harm. But it just makes the listner feel dumb if they don't get it multiple times and thus unmotivated/lh. especially for public speakers. people will stop paying attention and feel insulted
