Things were surprisingly good in the beginning, you both respected your individual hobbies and you managed to find enough time in your busy lives for each other. You provided Rin a comfort he’d never felt before and he was like the guys written into your romance books— tall, dark and handsome. A welcome distraction for him and those seated feelings of inadequacy that he tries so hard to shake, you make him feel good. But it’s a shame he’ll never put you first, another lead weight to tie him down and hinder him towards his goals.. At least he drops you a text to let you know he’s going to make it in the football leagues, but maybe when he comes back he can tell you in person… if he comes back.
